About Sideshow Bert
Sideshow Bert's background is diverse and well suited to performing. In addition to his skills as a comedian, juggler, and variety artist, he owns a degree in broadcasting and also performed as a puppeteer in Sid and Marty Krofft's "Comedy Kings" - a live adaptation of their "D.C. Follies" television show at the Sands Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas. This was his first big break in show business, performing with comedy legends Mickey Rooney, Sherman Hemsley, and John Byner, as well as two time Tony Award winning director Joe Layton.

Getting Started
Sideshow Bert got his start as a street performance act, near the beaches of Los Angeles, and Sydney, Australia. As his reputation grew, Bert worked his way up to regular engagements at theme parks and county fairs. Though these venues were far from the elegant showrooms Sideshow Bert works today, they were the perfect training ground for honing valuable technical and improvisational skills.

Swiss Army Knife
He's not just a juggler, not just a comedian, not just a magician, not just a balancing act. He's a hybrid, a unique act with something for everyone. The strength of this performance is by virtue of its comedy and variety, and ability to customize his show for any venue, any time slot.
